Moccasin Point Fish Cleaning Station Temporarily Closed

We have a new project scheduled to start next week! Beginning Monday, October 11, the Moccasin fish cleaning station will be closed for renovations. This closure is expected to last approximately 2 weeks. Please keep an eye on our website for a reopening date.

Blue Oaks Launch Ramp Closure

Effective September 28, 2021, the Blue Oaks Launch Ramp will be closed until further notice. Due to the current lake elevation, the launch ramp has reached unsafe boat launching conditions. As of September 26, 2021, CDEC lists the lake elevation as 731.09.

DPRA staff will place signage and barriers to not allow boat launching; however, the barriers will be placed to allow continued day use such as swimming and shore fishing. Customers will also have the ability to launch smaller water toys such as kayaks and standup paddleboards.

We will continue to monitor the Moccasin Point Launch Ramp conditions but will follow a similar procedure when unsafe launching conditions become present.

Blue Oaks Launch Ramp Closure Projected Date

Based on current lake level projections, the Blue Oaks launch ramp is expected to close the week of August 30th and will not re-open until lake levels rise.
We are closely monitoring the current levels and projections for Moccasin Point and Fleming Meadows, but do not currently have any plans for closing either launch ramp at this time. Official updates will be posted on our website at donpedrolake.com and our official Facebook and Instagram pages.

NO WAKE ZONE UPDATE!

Due to low water houseboat mooring, the entire area from Fleming Point & Schoolhouse Point to Blue Oaks is now a Slow 5mph No Wake Zone
