May 20, 2025-CLOSED Blue Oaks Launch Ramp

🚨 Blue Oaks Launch Ramp Closure Notice 🚨
Due to rising lake levels, the Blue Oaks Launch Ramp will be closing on May 21.
In preparation, overnight parking will no longer be permitted starting May 20. The duration of the closure is currently unknown. DPRA staff will continue to monitor fluctuating water levels and will reopen the ramp once it is safe to do so.

🚨 Important Notice – Blue Oaks Launch Ramp Closure Possible 🚨
Due to the rapidly rising lake elevation, DPRA staff is preparing for the closure of the Blue Oaks launch ramp with little to no notice in the coming days.
🚫 Overnight parking will not be allowed.
⚠️ Please use extra caution when parking near the shoreline and follow all posted signs.

Golden Mussel Announcement

We are currently aware of the situation with the Golden Mussel and are assessing potential impacts to Don Pedro Reservoir. Further information will be provided as it becomes available. Please remember to complete the Self-Inspection prior to launch.

 

June 28, 2024 – Blue Oaks Launch Ramp is CLOSED

Due to the fluctuating lake elevation, the upper Blue Oaks launch ramp will be closed starting June 28, 2024. We will open the lower launch ramp as soon as possible, water levels permitting. Continue to follow updates on social media for the reopening of the ramp. Please use caution when parking near the shoreline and follow all posted signage. Boaters can still visit Fleming Meadows and Moccasin Point launch ramps, which remain fully open and do not currently have plans for closing.
