ATTENTION BOATERS

THE UPPER TUOLUMNE RIVER ARM OF THE LAKE IS NOW OPEN TO BOATERS. As the lake level rises, woody debris outside of containment booms will continue to re-float off of the shoreline. Containment operations will continue through July. PLEASE BOAT SLOWLY AND WITH CAUTION THROUGH THIS AREA AND WATCH FOR FLOATING WOODY DEBRIS!

Outlaws of the mid 1800's frequented the area around Don Pedro Lake. Marshes Flat Road, located along the east side of the lake, was a route frequently traveled by the likes of outlaw Joaquin Murrieta, where he was also known to hideout after his misdeeds.
